About Us

We are located at the Marketplace at Avalon Park in Orlando,FL. The Southern Fowl specializes in scratch made southern comfort food and has arguably the best buttermilk southern fried chicken in Central Florida. Let's not limit southern food to fried chicken alone, there are plenty of other options on the menu. We have NOT traditional chicken pie pot, the ol'standard meat-and-3 special, burgers and very delicious salads all from scratch.

We have to set expectations high and strive to delivery the best southern hospitality through our food. A little background of the chef owner Va Propst. She has been featured on multiple DDD and GGG episodes along with  Somebody Feed Phil. 

And her past restaurant was featured even more than that.
